Welcome ArtsTalk Magazine Holland

Launched in June 2017, we are the sister publication of StageTalk Magazine in the UK and provide previews, reviews and information, in English, for theatres, art exhibitions, concerts, opera etc, concentrating on cities in south west Netherlands (Noord/Zuid Holland and Utrecht regions). Each venue, museum or gallery has its own page with information and a link to its website. The site is updated regularly and information is always coming in so there is always something new to discover or read about.

Some Highlights This Month

With the closure of the Boijmans van Beuningen Museum the mantle of the biggest show in town falls on the Kunsthal. It has two major new exhibitions in July – I’M YOUR MIRROR by Joana Vasconcelos opens on 20th. The Portuguese artists is known for her keen sense of proportions, masterly use of colour and unusual choice of materials . . .

ALL THE WORLD’S A STAGE? European Theatres, Opera & Concert Halls at the MAKK in Cologne.

It is no coincidence that this exhibition is taking place in Cologne whose own opera house is in the process of being rebuilt, but this wide ranging, comprehensive and impressive exhibition includes well established theatres like the NT in London as well as buildings which are still on the drawing board.
