Benefit concert for victims of the war in Ukraine.

Sunday, 6th March at 3:00 pm in the Concert Hall – Amare in The Hague

On Sunday, 6th March  at 3 pm, Amare & Friends are organizing a benefit concert for Ukraine in the Amare Concert Hall. All proceeds go to Giro555, Together in action for Ukraine. The concert is part of the national campaign ♥rt for Ukraine | Culture Supports Ukraine of the cultural organizations in our country.

Amare, Residentie Orkest The Hague, Royal Conservatoire, Nederlands Dans Theater and Het Nationale Theater are, like everyone else, deeply shocked by the developments in Ukraine. Their condolences go out to the Ukrainian citizens. To show solidarity and show support, Amare & Friends are organizing a benefit concert in the Amare Concert Hall on Sunday 6 March.

In addition to musicians from the Residentie Orkest, students from the Royal Conservatoire and actors from the National Theater, various soloists from Ukraine, among others, will perform, including pianist Anna Fedorova, cellist Maya Fridman, percussionist Konstantyn Napolov, pianist Helena Basilova and violist Hannah Strijbos. In addition to music and stories from Ukraine, the program also includes works by Chopin, Skoryk, Vasks, Elgar, Strootman, Fondse and Bach.

Decide for yourself what you want to pay

You decide what you want to pay for a ticket for this pay-as-you-like concert. The minimum price is five euros. NDT offers a video presentation for which tickets can be purchased via the pay-as-you-like principle. The proceeds of the concert and the video presentation will fully benefit Giro555 of the Cooperating Aid Organizations for the reception of Ukrainian refugees. These initiatives are part of the national campaign ♥rt for Ukraine | Culture Supports Ukraine of the cultural organizations in our country.
