NORTH SEA JAZZ IS THE LATEST VICTIM OF CORONA VIRUS

Unfortunately, as a result of measures taking by the Dutch government to fight the corona virus, NN North Sea Jazz cannot be held this year.

When the crisis just started, they were still hoping everything would turn out okay: after all, the festival was a while away. But as the virus spread across the world, doubts arose. And slowly but surely, it became obvious that all large events were in jeopardy. Now the decision has been made, both unimaginable and unavoidable: the festival cannot take place this Summer.

They were all ready for it, nothing seemed to stand in the way of a magnificent edition. The line-up was complete, artists booked. Tickets sold out, even, so the audience was looking forward to the festival as well. And, of course, the team, together with sponsors, partners and suppliers, was enthusiastic as ever.

But it can’t be helped and one will have to accept the fact that this Summer will be very different from what was expected. For the first time in 45 years there will be no NN North Sea Jazz Festival. A great disappointment, for sure, but there are more important things in life. Such as health, which now comes first.

Save your ticket

The organizers are already looking ahead: NN North Sea Jazz 2021 will be held on 9, 10 and 11 July. Purchased tickets remain valid, and they wholeheartedly hope they’ll be able to welcome you again next year.

They support the initiative “Save your ticket, enjoy later” and hope you will respond, as this will provide the organizers with the ability to come back better and stronger next year. If you are unable to attend at the new dates, you will be refunded the cost of your ticket, including service fees, in the shape of a voucher. Please see the website here for more information.

At the moment they are collaborating with Ticketmaster to work out all the practicalities. As soon as everything is in order, ticket buyers will receive information via email.
