Every individual, group or community needs a VOICE that people are going to listen to. A voice that reflects who you are, your aims and expectations, your interests and concerns or merely your rants and raves. A weekly programme, DutchbuzZ, is that listening ear, a sounding board and a reflective voice for the international and expat communities in the Netherlands.

Our programme is full of news, views and interviews that tell you all about the buzzing city of The Hague.

We kick off with the talking point of the week, whether it be the municipality’s controversial plans for an International Park, developments at the popular beaches, or an interview with one of the city’s many prominent visitors. As this is the city of international peace and justice, we cover news from both the International Criminal Court and the ICTY. We are concerned about the environment and animal welfare and the provenance of the food in our markets and other outlets. We bring you news about wining and dining in the city, the social and cultural events in the week ahead and our art and theatre critics give you their opinions on current exhibitions and performances in the city. Our sport correspondent brings you up to date on the local sporting news.

You really get to know what is happening in The Hague by listening to DutchbuzZ!

The DutchbuzZ team of internationals and local contributors includes presenters, producers, journalists, writers, critics and sound engineers from at least 4 continents. Most of them view The Hague as their base and share a passion for radio.

“Have your say!” is what we say!
