The Promenade Orchestra (HPO) was founded in 2004 by a number of musicians from the Dutch raised Promenade Orchestra. The HPO has as main stage the professional guidance of amateur choirs. Between 2004 and and now the Orchestra has a wealth of choral music accompanied, with highlights like The Sea Symphony (Vaughan Williams), The Dream of Gerontius (Elgar) and the War Requiem (Brittain). The many positive reactions of old and new customers are the convincing proof that the Orchestra in its current composition a very good course, both artistically and in organisational terms. The orchestra consists of a large solid core and has a clear structure with fixed concert masters, captains and first blazers. The HPO plays in any desired composition and in any size you want. Also in the repertoire have shown itself very flexible: from baroque to musical. The Orchestra plays all over Netherlands.
