Yvette Olof and Jan Erik Noske are the owners of the Zeeheldentheater in The Hague. They have been since 2002, since the theatre opened. They have two daughters together. One of them, Trijntje, teaches Essentia and also plays in music theatre Briza.
Yvette is originally a dancer. Jan Erik has always been a musician. He plays many instruments, including the flute, the alto flute, the zampoña and keña (special bamboo Andean flutes), the wood whistle and the piano (he received piano lessons from his grandmother Leny at a young age). In addition, he also plays stringed instruments such as the charango, the bouzouki, various percussion instruments and he also uses beautiful samples that sound lifelike. He can be heard on all kinds of streaming services under the name Shaun Erik.
