Wanderlust Festival

Presented by Residentie Orkest The Hague and Zuiderstrand Theater with pop, classical, jazz & more by, among others, Anneke van Giersbergen, Sven Figee, Nino Gvetadze, Zuco 103, and Tim Kliphuis.

The Wanderlust music experience is a hop-on, hop-off festival at the seaside with pop, classical, jazz and so much more. Wanderlust takes you on a musical journey in and around the Zuiderstrandtheater. grab a bite, have a drink and let yourself be blown away by a stirring jazz trio, fall into a swirling latin performance or dream away with wonderful piano music. Anything is possible. Wanderlust is a cosmopolitan festival where the wanderers of the world meet to chill, chat and mingle, while the best musicians take centre stage.

The program includes violinist Tim Kliphuis, singer-songwriter Anneke van Giersbergen, prize-winning pianist Nino Gvetadze, the Brazilian sounds of Zuco 103, Hammond organist Sven Figee and of course the Residentie Orkest, conducted by James Feddeck. The evening ends with an after party with DJ.

Zuiderstrandtheater
The Zuiderstrandtheater is the only stage directly on the Dutch coast. You can enjoy cultural highlights from home and abroad, with a view of the Scheveningen harbor and the North Sea. Jazz, pop, dance and spectacle: every performance transforms the quiet beach into a splashing surf.

Residentie Orkest
The Residentie Orkest proves that symphonic music can be of significance for a large and broad public in the 21st century. The orchestra wants to bring as many people as possible in contact with special music and let them enjoy, surprise and inspire them. The Residentie Orkest belongs to the large, renowned symphony orchestras of the Netherlands, is located in The Hague and can also be heard regularly at other major venues in the Netherlands and abroad.
