The International Theater Amsterdam (formerly the Stadsschouwburg) was created in January 2018 by the merging of the Stadsschouwburg with the Toneelgroep Amsterdam. It hosts a variety of shows, many of which are in English or where Language Is No Problem
The building is in the neo-Renaissance style dating back to 1894, and is the former home of the National Ballet and Opera.
