The Zoetermeer based Ebony Ensemble has announced that they will soon be performing again.
On 2nd August they will play the program that was initially planned for 2nd July as an open air concert in the context of Classic Zoetermeer. This concert had to be canceled due to the Corona restrictions. They are now playing this program in the main hall of the Stadstheater Zoetermeer as part of Cultuurzomer Zoetermeer. Presenter is Laurens de Groot, who also presented the open-air concert of the Ebony Ensemble last year.
You can experience well-known works by Bizet, Debussy, Piazolla and Tchaikovsky in the main hall of the City Theater, which has been made Corona-proof for this purpose. Admission is free but reservations are required. Because the number of places is limited, we advise you to book as soon as possible. The Ebony plays in a special arrangement in which the audience (of course at a safe Corona distance) sits on stage with the ensemble.
They naturally hope that as many visitors as possible will attend the concert ‘live’ and experience it. However, if that does not work due to the limited number of places, there is a possibility to follow the concert live via the internet. The link for this is not yet available, but will be offered later via on the reservation page of the Stadstheater Zoetermeer.
