Echoes of a Pilgrim is an acknowledgement of a period in history. A period 400 years ago when the ‘Pilgrim Fathers’ set sail from the Netherlands en route to what is now called America to create the so-called ‘free world’. This voyage resulted in the loss of life of millions of the indigenous peoples of that land, and the enslavement and transportation of Africans to build this new world empire, not without the further loss of countless lives. This was indeed a brutal chapter in history and we still feel and hear the echoes to this day. We will return to the roots of our history with an open spirit and fresh perspective and from there we will continue to move on towards a brighter future together”.
