After in 1917 by architect Pieter Vermaas to be designed as a luxury cinema grew from Luxor to the entertainment Theatre in Rotterdam. In 1974 it was converted into a theatre with 909 seats, of which 118 cozy loveseats. The ‘ old lady ‘, in 2014 beautifully converted, has long been a stage for new and established talent, intimate concerts and cabaret.
