In recent decades, electronic music has grown from an underground scene to a global phenomenon. Only one thing was missing: a place to experience the electronic dance culture and its history. Our House is ready to fill that gap.
The high-tech museum experience is a tribute to the (inter)national electronic music culture. Far from a regular museum outing, Our House offers a futuristic and innovative experience. Visitors take a multisensory journey through the evolution of house music; from Detroit to Amsterdam, London to Berlin and from Las Vegas to Ibiza; the journey of this ground-breaking music genre from the early 80s to the present.
Visitors can see six exhibitions and 15 installations, featuring contributions from Carl Cox, The Frankie Knuckles Foundation, Charlotte de Witte, Armin van Buuren, Kevin Saunderson and many more, as well as flyers, photo galleries, interactive turntables, drum machines, documentaries and our ground-breaking 4D audio-visual experience The Culture Ride.
Our House Academy
The Our House Academy offers the opportunity to explore different aspects of the industry through master-classes and workshops for those wishing to learn more about this pioneering sector. The content will be valuable to new entrants to the industry, such as schools and businesses, as well as on-going development for professionals and to support promising talent.
