With its central location next to Utrecht Central Station and many parking places within walking distance, the Beatrix Theater is easily accessible.
Since the opening in 1999 twelve musicals have been performed at the Beatrix Theater. In 1999 the theater was opened by Joop van den Ende. Chicago was the first musical to be performed. Then followed successful musicals like Saturday Night Fever, MAMMA MIA !, The Wiz, Dirty Dancing, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, We Will Rock You, Miss Saigon, The Little Mermaid, Jersey Boys, Mother, I Want At The Revue and The Bodyguard. In addition to musicals, the Beatrix Theater offers concerts, family and cabaret performances.
