Welcome ArtsTalk Magazine Holland

Launched in June 2017, we are the sister publication of StageTalk Magazine in the UK and provide previews, reviews and information, in English, for theatres, art exhibitions, concerts, opera etc, concentrating on cities in south west Netherlands (Noord/Zuid Holland and Utrecht regions). Each venue, museum or gallery has its own page with information and a link to its website. The site is updated regularly and information is always coming in so there is always something new to discover or read about.

Some Highlights This Month

One of the biggest events in the jazz year is coming up with NORTH SEA JAZZ in Rotterdam on 13th, 14th and 15th July with star names like Emeli Sandé and Gregory Porter and also featuring the re-emergence of jazz by younger musicians in the UK. If you are not a jazz person then THE DELFT CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL provides an excellent alternative. It runs from 26th July – 5th August around the city but the main venue is the Prinsenhof.

INTERVIEW

HUANG YI

is a young dancer from Taiwan whose show was part of the 2018 Holland Dance Festival. Huang dances with an industrial robot called Kuka and ArtsTalk Magazine had a chance to talk to him on stage at the Theater de Veste in Delft just before his performance.
