On Friday, July 3rd, Frank Taal celebrates our first opening at his gallery after the lock-down. Naturally, they adhere to the distancing rules and regulations of RIVM!
Nine participants of the Bcademie, year 2019 -2020, show their work in the end show 2020: #Softmarket at Frank Taal Galerie. Each of the nine artists exposed have their own professional practice and operate in a different domain of art. This is a unique exhibition with various works.

“Now that you are an artist, you have to be one!”
The Bcademie is an institute that coaches recently graduated art students. The founders Alex Jacobs and Daan den Houter and guest art-professionals help the students in finding their ways in the art world. The Bcademie’s goal is to close the gap between the graduation and the practice of an autonomous visual artist and a cultural entrepreneur. The Bcademie brings together young and proven talent in a structured as well as informal atmosphere where the transfer of knowledge takes place from guest lecturer to participant and within.
