This beautiful historic monument dates from 1891 and was built in neo-Renaissance style – a style that can now be found hardly anywhere else in the Netherlands. You can enjoy a wide range of concerts here, from classical to pop. The Stadsgehoorzaal is particularly praised for its excellent acoustics, and many concerts and CD recordings are held here every year.
