Music sector and venues join forces for benefit concerts for victims of the earthquake disaster.
Benefit concerts for Turkey and Syria will take place in Amsterdam and Rotterdam on 14th, 17th and 22nd February. Together with De Meervaart, De Doelen and Podium Mozaïek, initiators singer Meral Polat and concert organizer Mystiek Productions are organizing three benefit concerts. Kovacs, Naaz, Meral Polat and Warsim Aslan, among others, will perform. Fidan Ekiz and Jan Douwe Kroeske are responsible for the presentation together. The final programming will follow through the online channels of Mystiek Productions and the stages.
The entire proceeds from the concerts will go to the Giro 555 action for the victims in the disaster area.The terrible images of the consequences of the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria affect us all. These include the Red Cross, the Refugee Foundation, CARE, Cordaid, Kerk in Actie and Save the Children. They provide medical care in the area, distribute food and relief supplies and provide shelter.
